Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the amount of income and the level of efficiency of cacao farming in Ogowele Village, Dondo District, Tolitoli Regency. The type of quantitative research is the research approach that is carried out, namely field research (field research). The number of samples was 23 cacao farmers using purposive sampling technique. The average farm income is Rp. Rp.6.840.480/ha/MT, this means that farmers' income can cover all costs incurred in the production process of cacao farming in Ogowele Village, Dondo District, Tolitoli Regency and this cacao farming is a promising farm for the income of cacao farmers. The level of efficiency has increased by 5,192. This shows that every cacao farmer in Ogowele Village, Dondo District, Tolitoli Regency has taken care of his cacao plants so that farmers get better yields than before proper treatment.
