Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive learning media with Android-based applications for Basic Programming subjects. The basic competencies used are branching and repetition in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batam. Knowing the feasibility of the media based on the assessment of media experts, material experts, and learning experts. Knowing how students respond to learning media generated. This research is a type of Research and Development that is adapted to the concept of ADDIE (Analyze, Designs, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This learning media was developed using app inventor software. The feasibility test on learning media is carried out by media experts, material experts, and learning experts and is tested on 21 students of class X TKJ A SMK Negeri 1 Batam. The first result of this research is an interactive learning media product for Android-based Programming subjects. The feasibility of instructional media based on assessment: 1) Media experts obtained an average score of 14.08 so that it is included in the excellent category. When calculated into percentage is 88.02% so it is included in the very feasible category. 2) Material experts obtained an average score of 16.65 so that it is included in the excellent category. When calculated into percentage is 83.26% so it is included in the very feasible category. 3) Learning experts obtained an average score of 26.65 so that it is included in the excellent category. When calculated into percentage is 95.17% so it is included in the very feasible category. Student responses to learning media on average showed a positive response with a total percentage of 92.38%. Thus the interactive learning media for Basic Programming learning is appropriate to be used as a learning medium.
